Miss Ohio 2016
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
Education: Graduate of Seton High School
Platform: Beauty Unedited – Redefining Beauty for the Next Generation
Alice wants to live in a world that defines beauty as a diversity of body types, skin color, heights, and shapes that result from living a physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy lifestyle.
Her vision is to be at the forefront of leading change in the way women are represented in media and advertising so teens can find un-edited and un-filtered role models to emulate that are authentic, healthy, confident and true to diverse sizes, shapes and ethnicity.
Earning the state title of Miss Ohio at age 18, Alice is setting out to redefine beauty standards by leading a movement to post UN-EDITED and unaltered photos on social media.
With performing arts at the core of her education Alice graduated with honors from Seton High School and earned a Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend Chapman University in Orange, California. After her year of service Alice plans to study political science with a goal of being influential in passing legislation and policies that promote and enforce truth in advertising.
Her dream job is to be a news anchor on Good Morning America.
When she is not traveling the great state of Ohio promoting her personal platform, performing and entertaining, and raising funds for Miss America’s national platform, Children’s Miracle Network, Alice can be found whipping up her favorite protein smoothie, going to the gym, re-organizing her room for the umpteenth time and hanging out with friends at Starbucks, Panera, sporting events or concerts.
Alice’s hometown is Cincinnati where she lives with her parents Joeliene and Mike Magoto and her 16-year-old brother, Leo.
